Темпы декарбонизации мирового ВВП остаются слишком медленными
В 2023 году глобальные выбросы CO₂ увеличились на 1,8%, тогда как мировой ВВП вырос на 2,9%. Отношение выбросов к ВВП снизилось всего на чуть более 1%, что соответствует среднегодовому снижению за последние 25 лет. Однако это значительно отстает от необходимого 8% ежегодного снижения в период 2020–2030 годов для достижения углеродной нейтральности к 2050 году.
🔹 Несмотря на впечатляющие успехи развитых стран, где соотношение CO₂/ВВП снизилось на 6%, глобальный прогресс остается недостаточным.
В развитых странах Fitch10 (DM10) выбросы CO₂ сократились на 4,2%, при росте ВВП на 1,8%. Выбросы DM10 упали до самого низкого уровня с 1970 года.
Основной вклад в улучшение внесло повышение энергоэффективности ВВП, также отмечен устойчивый прогресс в снижении углеродоёмкости потребления энергии.
Для достижения климатических целей необходимо ускорить темпы декарбонизации на глобальном уровне. Текущие показатели значительно отстают от требуемых для достижения чистого нуля к 2050 году.

Overall, extreme levels of fear in the market seems to have morphed into something more resembling concern. For example, the Cboe Volatility Index fell from its 2022 peak of 36, which it hit Monday, to around 30 on Friday, a sign of easing tensions. Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation.
