В декабре член Совета Федерации от Челябинской области Маргарита Павлова поддержала запрет абортов. По ее мнению, россияне «не туда свернули», если «спокойно относятся к убийству детей в утробе матери». В ответ челябинские феминистки повесили баннер в центре города. Его уже сняли.
«Мы предлагаем всем феминисткам объединиться в борьбе за права женщин. Мы не хотим как в Польше! Мы хотим репродуктивной свободы!», — написали они.
