Запрет на иностранные вывески в Саратове ввели с сентября 2024 года. За пять месяцев бизнесмены заменили более 300 вывесок на русскоязычные.
Иностранные слова на вывесках также запрещены в Ярославле, Краснодаре и Саратове. Согласовывать такие вывески также перестали власти Екатеринбурга. При этом на федеральном уровне такого запрета не существует.
В октябре 2023 года законопроект о запрете иностранных вывесок внесли в Госдуму. Он до сих пор не принят: в мае 2024 года рассмотрение законопроекта отложили.
