Лидер победившего на выборах в Германии блока ХДС/ХСС Фридрих Мерц заявил, что рано или поздно придется наладить отношения с Россией.«Россия исторически и культурно является европейским государством. В один прекрасный день настанет необходимость, когда нужно будет предпринять серьезную попытку налаживания отношений с ней», — отметил политик.
При этом Мерц поддерживает необходимость продолжения помощи Украине, активно выступая за то, чтобы Берлин поставил Киеву дальнобойные крылатые ракеты Taurus.
