В Ливане одновременно взорвались сотни пейджеров, об этом сообщают местные СМИ.

Министерство здравоохранения Ливана объявило, что всем гражданам, имеющим пейджеры, следует немедленно их выбросить.

По данным исполняющего обязанности министра здравоохранения Ливана Фираса Абъяда, более тысячи раненых из-за детонации пейджеров доставлены в больницы Ливана. Также получил ранение посол Ирана в Ливане.

Пейджеры используются в стране членами шиитской милиции «Хезболлах».

По имеющимся данным, израильским военным удалось взломать портативные рации и вызвать их детонацию.
