В день 81-й годовщины освобождения Новгорода от немецко-фашистских захватчиков был вместе со своими избирателями. К сожалению, сильная простуда не дала мне возможность участвовать во всех мероприятиях. Но, несмотря на температуру, пришел и поклонился подвигу новгородцев и всех советских воинов, которые сложили головы за освобождение Новгорода от немецко-фашистских войск. Возложил цветы к стеле «Город воинской славы», к мемориалу, в открытии которого я участвовал в прошлом году, мемориалу в память героев земли Новгородской, тех, кто уходил и отдавал свои жизни за славу моей Родины.

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine.
