12 марта мы направили владельцам этих соцсетей уведомление о включении в реестр. Теперь в нем 15 площадок: ВКонтакте, Одноклассники, Telegram, LiveJournal, Пикабу, Дзен, RuTube, YouTube, Likee, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitch, Discord и Yappy.
Согласно закону о самоконтроле (№ 530-ФЗ) соцсети обязаны самостоятельно выявлять и блокировать запрещенную информацию — детскую порнографию, суицидальный, пронаркотический контент и др. Чтобы пользователи могли пожаловаться на размещение такого контента, соцсети обязаны разместить форму обратной связи. За несоблюдение закона владельцам грозит штраф до ₽8 млн.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use.
