В 2024 году по сети ОАО «РЖД» во всех видах сообщения было перевезено 7 млн 880,1 тыс. груженых и порожних контейнеров ДФЭ (TEU), что на 5,9% больше, чем за 2023 год. В том числе во внутреннем сообщении отправлено 3 млн 78,9 тыс. ДФЭ (+2,4%). Количество груженых контейнеров, отправленных во всех видах сообщения, выросло на 6,2%, до 5,8 млн ДФЭ (перевезено 82,6 млн тонн грузов, +8,5%).

Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
