Ректификационная колонна произведена в Волгограде по индивидуальному проекту. Ее корпус выполнен из высокопрочной стали, покрытой коррозионностойким жаропрочным материалом, что гарантирует надежную работу в течение всего срока эксплуатации.
Учитывая вес (368 тонн) и размеры груза (длина составляет 56 метров), основным путем доставки выбрали водный: по Волге, каналу имени Москвы и Москве-реке. А далее при помощи колесных платформ повышенной грузоподъемности колонну привезли на место установки. Создание комплекса глубокой переработки станет завершающим этапом технологической модернизации МНПЗ и позволит обеспечить безотходную переработку тяжелых нефтяных остатков в топливо и нефтяной кокс.
