«Сегодня я сообщил министру обороны, что в свете признания моей ответственности за провал ЦАХАЛА 7 октября, а также учитывая достижения армии и реализацию сделки по освобождению заложников, я прошу завершить свой срок полномочий 6 марта 2025 года. В оставшийся период я завершу проверки, укреплю механизмы ЦАХАЛа для решения будущих задач безопасности и передам командование армии своему преемнику качественно и основательно», — заявил Халеви.
