Как сообщил вице-премьер РФ Хуснуллин, специалисты провели расширение дороги до 4 полос на 3 участках протяжённостью 40 км. Уровень безопасности дорожного движения они повысили за счёт разделения встречных транспортных потоков, строительства надземного пешеходного перехода, обустройства освещения и установки светофоров.
Он добавил, что модернизация трассы Р-280 позволит увеличить её пропускную способность до 25 000 грузовых и пассажирских автомобилей в сутки.
