Удостоверение будет оформляться в бумажном, а в дальнейшем – и в электронном виде. Семьи смогут использовать его для получения региональных мер поддержки в своём субъекте и федеральных льгот по всей России, например, при посещении культурных или досуговых учреждений.
Действующие удостоверения переоформят в том числе в беззаявительном порядке.
