Сирійські християни виходять на протести проти антихристиянських атак радикальних бойовиків, які прийшли до влади.

Сотні християн вийшли на вулиці великих міст, щоб голосно заявити про своє право на мирне життя та повагу до християнської традиції.

Повідомляється, що останньою краплею став підпал різдвяної ялинки бойовиками, пов’язаними з Тахрір аш-Шам.
Ввечері, 23 грудня люди почали збиратися на масовий протест на вулицях Дамаску. Християни зібралися поряд з резиденцією Патріарха Антиохійского Іоана Х.

Людей збиралося все більше і більше. Повідомляється, що до протестів приєдналися навіть мусульмани, які не згодні з політикою терору проти християн.
