Предварительно известно, что мужчина перебирался из одной лодки в другую, но не удержался и упал в воду, после чего не смог выплыть и утонул. По информации Pro Город Йошкар-Ола, водолазы, чтобы найти тело нижегородца, использовали подводную камеру и эхолот.
В итоге им удалось найти тело мужчины и поднять его на берег. Второй рыбак, который был в трагический момент рядом, жив.
