Друзья, несколько дней назад отмечался день рождения Пита Мондриана, а сегодня исполняется четыре года нашему с вами сообществу! Строго говоря, канал старше, но лишь последние четыре года он ведется на ежедневной основе и в привычном вам формате. Мы хотели отпраздновать это событие анонсом одного нашего важного начинания, но пока повременим с этим. Зато у нас есть вот какая новость: встретились как-то админы дизайн-каналов и, обсуждая, пожалуй, два самых популярных в культурной среде слова прошлого года, оммаж и Хохлома, внезапно придумали еще один канал о дизайне и архитектуре, Хохломмаж.

Как следует из названия, канал этот предназначен исключительно для дивертисмента и будет наполняться мемами, примерами плохого дизайна или архитектуры, реальными историями из жизни нашей отрасли и прочим дурашливым и легкомысленным контентом на дизайнерско-архитектурную тему для увеселения духа. А самое главное - ведет его не один админ, а целых десять - да каких! Более того, поскольку не все из нас умеют в мемы, а хочется превратить канал в сокровищницу узкопрофильного народного (!) остроумия, будет здорово, если он станет нашим с вами общим детищем! Поэтому мы прикрутили к каналу бот и призываем вас делиться всем, что может вызвать улыбку на сосредоточенном лице дизайнера или архитектора. Присылайте увиденные мемы, подслушанные истории, придуманные шутейки, предлагайте рубрики, создавайте новояз, в общем, не держите юмор в себе, а делитесь им с единомышленниками!

Today marks the fourth anniversary of this community or, better yet, four years since we started a streak of daily posts in the bilingual manner you are used to – the channel itself is much older, but the daily streak and the format have not been broken or altered in the past four years. That said, we feel that our community is still very young, a preschooler in terms of child development, and open to lots of new ideas. We are now working on once such idea and have been intending to share an important announcement with you today to celebrate the occasion. However, this announcement can and should wait a bit and, instead, here’s another one for you!

A few weeks ago, as we and admins of other design-oriented channels were discussing what seemed to be the two most common words on the Russian design scene in 2024, hommage and Khokhloma, a new channel was suddenly conceived and born, Khokhlommage. Intended as a repository of entertaining content, Khokhlommage will feature design- and architecture-related memes, examples of bad design, funny case studies and first-hand visuals as well as any other hilarities that will hopefully put a smile on otherwise solemn faces of designers, architects, engineers, and design aficionados like us. What's more, there is not one but a dozen of admins behind this channel and we would really love it to become a collective endeavor authored by our entire community. For this reason, we have created a bot, which will be monitored by our team, and are inviting everyone to contribute whatever is funny in the world of design and architecture.
