Российский БТР-80 с новым необитаемым боевым модулем «Бумеранг-Буревестник» засветился в зоне СВО.

Дистанционно-управляемый боевой модуль «Бумеранг-Буревестник» был разработан ЦНИИ «Буревестник» для БТР К-16 на перспективной платформе «Бумеранг», однако фактически может быть установлен на широкий спектр боевых машин. Например, данный модуль также устанавливается на перспективную БРЭМ Т-16 на платформе «Армата».

Представленный на БТР-80 модуль оснащен 12,7-мм пулеметом «Утес» и является хорошим примером для оснащения бронетранспортеров переднего края, подвозящих пехоту в бой.
