30 января 1991 года был создан Высший колледж наук о материалах МГУ, ставший впоследствие факультетом наук о материалах МГУ!

Сегодня нам исполняется 34 года 🥳

Факультет наук о материалах (ФНМ) – старейший в России междисциплинарный факультет на стыке химии, физики и математики, организованный в 1991 году как подразделение МГУ имени М.В. Ломоносова при участии химического, физического и механико-математического факультетов по инициативе академика РАН Ю. Д. Третьякова при активной поддержке ректора МГУ В. А. Садовничего и президента РАН Ю. С. Осипова.

Принципы, заложенные при создании факультета, за прошедшее время ни на йоту не потеряли своей актуальности.

Желаем ФНМ МГУ оставаться флагманом отечественного и мирового образования в области современного материаловедения, а студентам и сотрудникам интересных исследований и ярких научных открытий!
