Ученые Университета МИСИС усовершенствовали метод обработки сплава кобальт-хром-молибден, который используется для изготовления имплантатов тазобедренных суставов, штифтов, пластин и других биомедицинских изделий. Предложенный способ сочетает изотермическую ковку и последующую радиально-сдвиговую прокатку.
Такой метод обработки позволяет значительно улучшить микроструктуру сплава, повысить прочностные характеристики материала и сохранить пластичность на стабильном уровне.
