◾️On February 2 and 3, in Triskini village, Rivne region, the first services were held in the newly built UOC church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Joy and Consolation".

The new shrine was built by Orthodox Christians, who were taken away the St. Nicholas Church by OCU raiders.

The UOC parish underwent many difficult trials. The OCU clerics decided to seize the church back in 2023.

The criminals incited hatred against Christians, staged provocations, put pressure on believers at work. They even threatened soldiers from the church parish.

Due to several attempts of storming and documents falsification, OCU raiders managed to take away the shrine.

The UOC parishioners were forced to pray in an adapted room. But the Christians did not give up.

They decided to build a new church. In 6 months, a new beautiful church appeared in Triskiny.

On February 2, the faithful moved from the hut to their new sanctuary in a solemn procession, after which they served the first All-Night Vigil there.

On February 3, on the day of veneration of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "Joy and Consolation", the first Liturgy was celebrated in the new church.

Telegram | DID YOU KNOW?

Date: |

Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries.
