На янтарном комбинате обнаружили уникальный камень с иголками сосны. Его возраст оценивается в 50 миллионов лет.
Специалисты отметили, что хвоя встречается в янтаре крайне редко, в отличие от насекомых.
Камень весом 29 граммов уже готовят к шлифовке и полировке, чтобы придать ему зеркальный блеск. После завершения обработки находка будет выставлена на аукцион.

Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change.
