1 декабря 2024 года она с друзьями отправилась кататься по льду озера. Неожиданно ее товарищ Пирбудаг Джамалудинов провалился под лед. Заметившая это Залму, не задумываясь, схватила Пирбудага и вытащила его из воды.
Девочка проявила невероятную храбрость и решительность, благодаря чему спасла жизнь своему другу.
Сегодня Заур Аскендеров вручил ей медаль «За смелость и отвагу».
