Роман "Велнесс" Нейтана Хилла (Фантом Пресс) в декабре захватил все моё внимание: и книгу прочитала, и с Нейтаном Хиллом интервью взяла, и на нонфике с переводчицей Анной Гайденко обсудила, и выбрала "Велнесс" книгой января в клубе "Под обложкой". Это история одного брака, в которую Хилл упаковывает развёрнутый разговор о состоянии общества. По его словам, он хотел написать роман, где будут Он, Она и Время. На мой взгляд, получилось сделать гораздо больше. В романе о любви художника и романтика Джека и въедливой исследовательницы Элизабет, кроме вопроса о том, что происходит в браке с ощущением, что ты нашел свою родственную душу, поднимается миллион тревожных тем, от влияния алгоритмов соцсетей на поведение пользователей до психологического эффекта плацебо. Unlike Silicon Valley giants such as Facebook and Twitter, which run very public anti-disinformation programs, Brooking said: "Telegram is famously lax or absent in its content moderation policy." Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts.
