28 июля 2024 года Генеральный консул России в Эрбиле М.О.Рубин провел встречу c руководителем аппарата правительства Курдского автономного района Ирака О.Сабахом.
В ходе беседы основное внимание было уделено внутриполитической ситуации в Ираке с упором на подготовке выборов в парламент Курдского автономного района и переговорный процесс между Багдадом и Эрбилем. Состоялся также заинтересованный обмен мнениями относительно перспектив развития двустороннего сотрудничества в торгово-экономической и гуманитарной сферах.
On July 28, 2024, Maxim Rubin, Consul General of Russia in Erbil, met Umed Sabah, President of the Diwan of Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The discussion focused on the internal political situation in Iraq with an emphasis on the parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan region and the negotiation process between Baghdad and Erbil. Both sides also exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.
