В начале 70-х годов Хаяо Миядзаки и продюсер Тосио Судзуки, будущие основатели студии Ghibli, всерьез раздумывали над возможностью снять полнометражный фильм про Пеппи Длинный Чулок.

Миядзаки лично отправился в путешествие в Швецию, чтобы набраться вдохновения. И вернувшись на Родину, очень быстро разработал концепт-арты и дизайн персонажей.

Но этого не хватило, чтобы убедить авторку сказки, Астред Линдгрен, дать согласие на экранизацию.

Так что аниме не было снято. У нас остались только эти рисунки Пеппи в стиле Ghibli. #заметки

The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights.
