Ранее Волков возглавлял одну из поселковых администраций Люберецкого района, а после ушел в Ярославскую область. Так что территорию он знает и назначение было бы логичным шагом. С другой стороны, в последнее время будущим главой Люберец чаще называли действующего градоначальника Реутова Каторова. У него скоро также истекают полномочия, да и муниципалитет для него стал маловат.
