Название канала "Рязанский язь" пошло от того момента, когда Рязань в 2020 году была "Новогодней столицей России".
Сперва новогодняя елка не зажглась на старте проекта потому что на нее забыли повесить гирлянды.
Потом по городу ставили различные новогодние объекты и инсталляции. Но они ломались и падали.
Такая судьба постигла и надпись "РЯЗАНЬ". Сперва отвалилась первая буква "Р", затем буквы "А" и "Н". И осталось слово "ЯЗЬ".
