'course you didn't and I definitely didn't ask just for fun.
Projects are an inherent part of my courses as they are a really good chance to do the following:
1️⃣ Have the students use the target language in a relatively natural way.
2️⃣ Have them practice their research skills which are vital for any person nowadays.
3️⃣ As a follow-up from the previous point, allow your students to practice their critical thinking skills (they need to find relevant sources of information, don't they?).
4️⃣ Let them find out some new information and share their newfound knowledge with others.
A lot of benefits, really. Sounds like a dream come true (well, to me). Why doesn't everybody do them then?
I cannot claim to be the leading expert on projects, but I can share how I organize such work. Shall I?

These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
