США собираются поставить Украине еще один огромный пакет помощи — предполагается, что он будет содержать в себе вооружения на 2,5 млрд долл. Ожидается, что туда будут включены БМП Bradley и Stryker, а причина такого решения — готовящееся российское контрнаступление.
Как уточняет The Washington Post, всего в пакет могут войти до сотни БМП Stryker, и это станет первой поставкой таких бронемашин. Bradley, в свою очередь, планируется поставить 50 — как и обещал ранее Пентагон. Впрочем, в этот пакет не войдут тяжелые танки Abrams, что подтверждается и тем, что в Вашингтоне откровенно сомневаются в способности ВСУ обслуживать такие машины.
