Самый большой храм в Арктике

За пару часов до вылета зашла в Преображенский собор в Салехарде.

Это крупнейший храм в Арктике, который строили десять лет и вот только недавно открыли. Даже реку Шайтанку, на берегу которой стоит здание, переименовали в Преображенку. Собор на Шайтанке звучало так себе.

Что ж. Масштабы впечатляют. Площадь подворья — четыре тысячи квадратных метров. Если смотреть с воздуха, то архитектура выполнена в форме круга с пятью куполами. Перед входом стоит гранитная колонна с фигурой Архангела Михаила. Внутри стены пока не расписали.

В первом комментарии опубликовала фото храма, которое сделала летом. По нему размеры считываются лучше.
