Please email or call the Maltese embassy in Berlin on an appropriate means of contact on Monday May 5th, between 07:00 - 17:00, asking them to tow the Conscience to safety and then after repairs to permit it further safe passage - and throughout, to allow the crew to remain in possession of the vessel.

Express your concern for the future of Maltese tourism, foreign investment, and the unfortunate possibility of a boycott and increased online attention to both Maltese registered gambling companies, tax avoidance schemes, and the recently court-defeated citizenship for investment scheme that granted Russian oligarchs access to Europe.

Some friends are organizing a historical discussion in German language, dedicated to the 8th of May, to remind that Ukraine was also a part of USSR and the victim of the German invasion. Please share with those who are interested!

We, cultural figures, journalists, scholars, and activists, strongly oppose the showing of the opera "Russia: Today", scheduled for May 10 in Berlin, and demand its cancellation.

This work retransmits russian propaganda and disinformation under the guise of artistic reflection — which makes its presentation dangerous.

A detailed analysis of this work and its threats is set out in the Open Letter — we kindly ask you to read it carefully.

✍️ By signing the letter, you declare: art must not be a tool of manipulation, justification of crimes, or whitewashing of the aggressor. Especially today, in the context of an information war and the growing armed aggression by russia.

We urge you to sign and share this letter so that together we can resist the use of art as a tool of propaganda.

We sincerely thank you for your support and solidarity!

🇬🇧 Friends, great news!

We’re almost done with transferring the Nissan Patrol to Taras Bilous and the aerial reconnaissance group he serves with — we launched the fundraiser for this vehicle a few months ago 💪

It took a while to find a reliable option, but now the car has been repainted and is undergoing the final repairs at the service station. Within a week, it should be heading to the front line.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser — this wouldn’t have been possible without you 💛
Psychologival Impact of War
Ukraine the Possible
From @commonscomua:

In addition to the visible destruction of infrastructure, the war leaves invisible, yet no less devastating, psychological scars on Ukrainian society.

In the latest episode of Ukraine The Possible, we explore the lasting effects of trauma: PTSD, anxiety, and moral injuries.

🔹 How do these issues affect individuals and society as a whole?
🔹 What personal stories lie behind the statistics of PTSD and moral injuries?
🔹 What are the neurological consequences of constant stress?
🔹 How can society heal this emotional wound, and what psychological support is needed?

This case is close to my heart — not only because I am personally connected to the family, but also because it touches on a deeply stigmatized topic.

Antar was one of the first rappers from Gaza to rise to international fame. Through his music, he was able to tour the world and shed light on life in Gaza. He eventually fled Gaza, to Egypt, where he began receiving treatment for HIV. Later, he moved to Turkey to continue to create music.

Then October 7th happened. Antar gave everything he had to evacuate his sister and her children. The emotional and financial pressure broke him. His health declined rapidly, and the lack of access to free HIV treatment in Turkey made things worse. Antar's health is very bad right now. We urgently need funds for medication.

Please share this post here and on Instagram, so we can support Antar in finding his way back to health, stability, to his laughter and the music that once gave voice to so many.
