Вадим Карасюк, ученик спортивного клуба «Старт» сыктывкарской школы № 30, занял второе место в соревнованиях по самбо.

Всего в состязании приняло участие 696 школьников из 58 регионов России. В ходе олимпиады участники соревновались в легкой атлетике, шахматах, компьютерном спорте, баскетболе, регби, городошном спорте и самбо.
