Георгий Иустинович Мушников Герой Советского Союза
Родился в 1923 г. в дер. Айбашево Бирского кантона Башкирской АССР. Без отрыва от учёбы в средней школе в 1941 г. окончил местный аэроклуб. После поступил в авиационное училище в Перми. По окончании училища лётчиков был направлен на фронт в действующую армию. Принимал участие в боях с немецко-фашистскими захватчиками в качестве лётчика-штурмовика, командира звена, заместителя командира эскадрильи, командира эскадрильи. За время Великой Отечественной войны на самолёте-штурмовике «Ил-2» совершил 185 боевых вылетов. Участвовал в боях за освобождение Белгорода, Курска, Харькова, Львова, Праги, Берлина и т.д. 10.04.1945 г. Георгию Мушникову было присвоено звание Герой Советского Союза с вручением ордена Ленина и медали Золотая звезда. В честь Георгия Мушникова названы улицы в Бирске и уфимском микрорайоне Инорс, его имя носят средняя школа № 74 города Уфы и её музей, посвящённый ВОВ. В 2015 г. в память о Герое в Уфе открыта мемориальная доска.
