6 августа 2024 года Генеральный консул России в Эрбиле М.О.Рубин провел встречу с Государственным министром по делам этнических и религиозных меньшинств Курдского автономного района (КАР) А.Маруфом.
В ходе беседы состоялся обмен мнениями по вопросам внутриполитической обстановки в КАР с акцентом на подготовку к проведению 20 октября 2024 г. парламентских выборов в автономии.
Были также затронуты темы, относящиеся к положению этнорелигиозных меньшинств в Курдском автономном районе.
On August 6, 2024, Mr. Maxim Rubin, Consul General of Russia in Erbil, held a meeting with Mr. Aydin Maruf Selim, Minister of State for Minority Affairs of the Kurdistan Autonomous Region.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on issues of the internal political situation in the Kurdistan region, with an emphasis on preparations for the parliamentary elections on October 20, 2024.
Topics related to the situation of ethno-religious minorities in the Kurdistan Autonomous Region were also touched upon.
