Ранее Госдума единогласно приняла в третьем чтении законопроект, запрещающий «иноагентам» быть кандидатами на выборах всех уровней. Совфед также одобрил закон.
Теперь «иностранным агентам» больше нельзя избираться в органы власти, а также присутствовать на выборах в качестве наблюдателей. Полномочия всех «иноагентов», которые уже были избраны в органы власти, будут прекращены досрочно.
