На прошлой неделе в нашем пространстве состоялся вернисаж выставки «Тут совсем не так, как в твоих розовых очках». Куратор выставки Антон Беликов лично представил свой проект, подробно рассказав об идее и процессе создания экспозиции. Гости могли пообщаться с самими художниками и узнать больше о замыслах их работ.

Выставка представляет собой мощное и пронзительное высказывание о войне в эпоху цифровых технологий. Взгляд на войну глазами художников, которые были на передовой.

Раньше фронт был оглушительной реальностью, а тыл – священной тайной. Сегодня все изменилось: жизнь, смерть, героизм и жестокость транслируются в прямом эфире, стирая границы между теми, кто воюет, и теми, кто наблюдает.

Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee.
