Сегодня, 15 февраля, в Южно-Сахалинске прошла церемония в честь памяти воинов, погибших за пределами Родины. Мероприятие состоялось на площади Славы у мемориала "Скорбящая" и было посвящено годовщине вывода советских войск из Афганистана.
В церемонии участвовали ветераны боевых действий, родные погибших солдат, представители власти, духовенства и молодежных патриотических организаций.
📌 15 февраля 1989 года последние советские войска покинули Афганистан. В этой войне наша страна потеряла более 15 тысяч человек. Среди погибших — 43 сахалинца, отдавшие жизни в Афганистане и Чечне.
