Стоимость реконструкцию моста на железнодорожной ветке Саратов-Урбах и уполаживание дороги на участке Сухой Карабулак — Елховка Альмеев оценивается в 38 млрд рублей.
Пока же железнодорожники сконцентрированы на строительстве Западного обхода Саратова, общая стоимость строительства которого оценивается в 96,6 млрд рублей, в том числе 27 млрд рублей осваиваются в этом году.
В 2026 году планируется полностью открыть движение по Западному обходу. Грузовые поезда пойдут в обход станции Саратов-1.
