Из города эвакуировали более 30 тысяч человек. При этом наиболее тяжёлая ситуация складывается в районе Пасифик-Палисейдс, где проживает вице-президент США Камала Харрис, актёры Бен Аффлек и Том Хэнкс, певица Рианна и многие другие знаменитости.

Сейчас огнём охвачена территория в 1000 гектаров. Сотни домов сгорели. Пожар пытаются остановить при помощи авиации, но этому мешает сильный ветер. 184 тысячи человек остались без света из-за стихийного бедствия.

Аналогичная ситуация складывается и в Южной Калифорнии, где сейчас тоже разгораются лесные пожары.

"There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
