🦆Ежегодный праздник Международный день птиц отмечается в фиксированную дату – 1 апреля. Именно в это время возвращаются перелетные птицы с юга в родные края. Это дрозды и зарянки, зеленушки и овсянки. Тем самым они оттесняют зимних снегирей, свиристелей и клестов.
В рамках празднования Дня птиц объявлен областной детский художественный конкурс «Птицы весной» с целью привлечения внимания общественности к проблемам перелетных птиц Смоленского региона.
