Крутейший рёкан по дороге из Токио в Осаку, который хвалили в нашем чате, – Tetsuta Ryokan в сердце полуострова Идзу. Он расположен вдоль реки, и тут почти все вдоль реки: ресторан, терраса с видами на реку, номера и приватные онсены в некоторых номерах. Ну и много, много разных публичных и приватных красивых купелей на открытом воздухе.

Рёкан стоит вменяемых денег, но добираться сюда чуточку сложнее обычного: от станции Мисима (где останавливаются синкансены) сначала 40 минут на местном поезде до Сюдзендзи, потом еще полчаса на автобусе.

Из интересных достопримечательностей по соседству – плантации васаби и водопады. Настоящий японский васаби (а не подделка из хрена как в 99% ресторанов мира) тут же на месте можно и купить, прямо в рёкане.
