Он был включён в состав совета по должности и занял место своего предшественника Владимира Якушева. Напомним, что в соответствии с Уставом Президентского центра в состав его Попечительского совета по должности входят также глава администрации президента Антон Вайно и губернатор Свердловской области Евгений Куйвашев. Остальные члены совета назначаются персонально. Вот уже десятый год Попечительский совет плодотворно и конструктивно сотрудничает с командой Ельцин Центра, участвует в обсуждении его стратегических целей, рассматривает и утверждает его ежегодные отчёты, как того требует Устав нашей организации.
