На Большой Покровской состоялось одно из самых зрелищных и необычных мероприятий нашего фестиваля «Горьковская Ёлка»: по главной пешеходной улице прошло костюмированное шествие сказочных героев. В завершении шоу всех желающих угощали чаем с калачами в компании двухметрового Максима Горького.

И именно в этот день 125 лет назад наш земляк провёл первую благотворительную ёлку для детей в здании городской управы. Сейчас там располагается центр дополнительного образования, где сегодня тоже прошла новогодняя ёлка. С радостью посетил её и поздравил малышей с праздниками.

Это мероприятие стало одним из 75, которые в этом году проводим для 3 500 детей в рамках «Горьковской Ёлки». На сегодняшний день участниками фестиваля стали 80 000 нижегородцев и гостей города.
