«Да, мы - малая народность, нас не 100-200 млн. Но у нас есть история, культура, мы люди, мы хотим, чтобы нас уважали. Мы не нищие. У нас богатая страна. (...) Владимир Владимирович, наша просьба – чтобы не было политики к странам Центральной Азии как к бывшему Советскому Союзу. Надо найти золотую середину и работать с каждой республикой отдельно», - заявил Рахмон.
