Об этом стало известно на конгрессе Международной федерации бокса World Boxing в Колорадо-Спрингс (США). На сегодня к WB присоединились 55 стран.
Председатель Олимпийской комиссии World Boxing Геннадий Головкин поприветствовал всех участников конгресса и поблагодарил US boxing за организацию первого в истории чемпионата мира U19.
На конгрессе приняли изменения в регламенте соревнований. В частности, турниры будут проводиться в новых весовых категориях. Поправки коснулись и работы судей во время поединков и при определении победителей.
Казахстанская федерация бокса на конгрессе подала заявку на проведение квалификационного ЧМ-2027 по боксу к Олимпийским играм в Лос-Анджелесе. Решение примут в ближайшее время.
