Недалеко от аэропорта имени Рональда Рейгана в Вашингтоне произошло столкновение пассажирского самолёта с военным вертолётом UH-60 Blackhawk, в результате которой самолёт рухнул в реку.
На борту пассажирского самолёта Bombardier CRJ700, который совершал посадку, находились 60 человек. В это время военный вертолёт, на борту которого было трое военнослужащих, выполнял свои задачи.
По предварительным данным, в результате столкновения есть погибшие и пострадавшие. На месте происшествия развернута поисково-спасательная операция, в которой задействованы вертолёты и катера. Аэропорт Вашингтона был закрыт.
